Assembla was built to help software teams around the world manage their projects and version their code with more ease, flexibility, and security than other version control hosting providers. Assembla Customers Are Delighted

More than 120 verified Assembla users have given public feedback about us on G2 Crowd, with an average rating of 4.2 out of 5 stars. In addition to the High Performer award, their reviews have led G2  to name Assembla the winner in the categories of "Easiest to Use," "Best Support," and "Highest User Adoption" among Version Control Hosting Software providers.

To make these awards decisions, G2 Crowd analyzes multiple factors:

  • •  Customer satisfaction, using popularity and statistical significance based on the number of reviews received.
  • •  Thoroughness of reviews (weighing more complete and detailed reviews more heavily).
  • •  Age of reviews.
  • •  Overall NPS score based on ratings by G2 users.
  • •  Quality of support as reported by users—making sure the support team is able to answer your questions or support cases quickly and effectively!

"A powerful team collaboration platform for software development"

What do you like best?

Assembla is an excellent platform to maintain version control of each project that we carry out in the organization. What I like most is that it is very simple to use, enough for anyone to import or export projects to the repositories. I really like to have a ticket section to report bugs to my colleagues. Assembla includes SecureGit, which has high-security standards.

"Great project management tool"

What do you like best?

I appreciate the volume of information we can track in Assembla - we can add any kind of metadata we need to track and sort our projects. We can track every date a project has, should, or didn't pass, every person who has touched a project, all of the project data, and more.

After running a product survey earlier this year, we have been using your advice as fuel to build out a better platform for you. Feedback can be a tough pill to swallow sometimes, but we know that if we really want to be able to help you write awesome code, we need to ask for, listen to and then act on your input! Our entire team is excited to see our hard work paying off, and we’re pumped to continue building features and making improvements that you need to make your jobs easier and ship more awesome products 🥰
