Better Search Results Faster: Upgraded Assembla Search UI

Posted by Amanda Pinchbeck on August 21, 2017 11:17:47 AM

Making Assembla an intuitive experience where our clients’ most critical repositories can live securely in the cloud is our number one priority. With our improved search functionality, we’ve made the Assembla UI even easier to use and improved its performance.

What’s New?

This upgrade includes a new search results page that is more streamlined and intuitive to use. Additionally, our backend has been updated to give our users better performance and faster searches.

Currently, users can execute searches at the Portfolio, Space, and Repo levels. The results can then be refined by repo, space, or user. Results can be filtered by type, including Code (Coming Soon!), Activity, Files, Merge requests, Messages, Milestones, Repositories, Tickets, Users, and Wikis. Additionally, search results can be filtered by the time they were last updated and can be ordered either by Relevance or Last updated.

Search results will display the Space (and repo, if applicable) they are located in as well as the date and time they were last updated.
