Michael Chletsos I talk to many Assembla Customers in a day, I figure that others can benefit from this direct communication with the VP of Engineering at Assembla.

Are there any plans to include native test case support?
We can make the product work with associated tickets but its not elegant.

We frequently tests the same issues over and over for regression testing or log the same defect across multiple spaces since they represent customer sites in our case.

Do you expect to add COPY ticket functionality into the "Bulk Update" page?

Native Test Cases: Current Roadmap - No, but we talk about it. I like the idea of having this in the system, associated with component - so once you set a component, a set of cases are associated, then you can mark them as Passed/Failed/NA or similar with a comment. The results would be displayed once tested . . .

Copy Ticket Fn: Do you mean that it would copy a ticket Description and fields to another ticket in the same space or another space? I guess since you are asking in Bulk Update section, you want to create a template set of tickets and just copy them into place in the new Space. This can be accomplished somewhat easily with a custom API script - (Pull ticket from Space X, Push ticket to space Y). I am compiling a list of useful scripts that will go into a Community Section and will be downloadable - retrieving tickets and writing tickets is on the list, its just a matter of calling one then the other.
