We will do an Assembla release tomorrow, November 10 at 07:00 UTC. We will be offline up to 1 hour for some infrastructure changes. Thank you for your patience.

Is this morning or evening...because you didn't say 07:00, it's ambiguous, and I'm not sure if you use a 12 or 24 hour system.
Thanks...

I really appreciate your efforts to improve Assembla and exactly know about the problems with SaaS solutions. But I found it rather disappointing to come to my workplace here in Germany and find Assembla being down for an hour, because this ruined an important meeting I have this morning. Can you please find a less disruptive way for updating Assembla, such as a parallel sysplex with redundant clusters that are updated gradually? Thank you.

Hi Christian,
the "up to 1 hour" is only a conservative estimate of time,
usually release does not take so long as declared. However, we want to ensure that there are absolutely no issues before we put service back after the release.
Most of time our release lasts in average 10 minutes, in special today it lasted 5 minutes while some migrations where executed. So having releases without any downtime when some big migrations are to be executed is pretty a hard task to accomplish.
We apologize for any inconveniences caused by release downtime.
