Space cleanup - removing some old repositories and spaces

We want to provide the best service for our current active users. In the past few years we have handled almost 200K repositories. Many of them are old experiments, and many of them are empty and were never used, and will never be used. We are cleaning them off our servers to make way for new users. We recently sent an email to affected spaced owners, and are planning on running the first cleanup around November 20.
Here are the specifics:
- We are deleting empty repositories for non-subscribers (free and old trials). These repositories, obviously, are not in use. If you use them, we won't delete them.
- We are deleting "restricted" read-only spaces after four months. These are private subscriptions, mostly trials, that were not renewed and are not used.
- You can go to these restricted spaces and get your data. Unlike our competitors, we do not delete your data if you don't subscribe. We keep it (privately) for at least four months for ease of entry and exit.
- We are not deleting any free public spaces. However, we may delete repositories in these spaces if they are not used.
FAQ
Question: I am using my space (for mercurial, etc.), but I got a message that the related subversion repository will be deleted. Will you delete my space?
Answer: No. We will not delete the space. Only the empty repository tool will be deleted.
Question: I have an expired (restricted) subscription space with a Subversion and Trac tool. I can't figure out how to get the subversion repository.
Answer: You can do this from the integrated code rowser, but not from the Trac code browser. In this case, go o the repository/Trac tab, and select "try the new integrated code browser," and select "Import/Export".
